INSTRUMENT
We recommend African Ebony, Indian Chestnut & Lignum Vitae for Electric Guitar & Arch-top Jazz Guitar.

We recommend Burma Padauk for Acoustic Guitar and Arch-top Jazz Guitar.
TONE

African Ebony is a very close-grained timber that polishes to a smooth finish, this ensures that you get a clean crisp sound. The hardness ensures that it can withstand the rigours of electric guitar playing. 

Indian Chestnut is a relatively open-grained timber that polishes to a smooth finish. The hardness ensures that it can withstand the rigors of electric guitar playing whilst it has slightly more warmth to the tone than Ebony.

Lignum is very hard wearing and self-lubricating thus we recommend this timber primarily for Electric Guitar where it will give a clean crisp tone. 

Burma Padauk is extraordinary in that it is relatively hard, unlike its Indian Padauk cousin. It is close grained and polishes very well meaning that it will add clean crisp and bright tones to most Acoustic Guitars.​​​​​​​

DESIGN 
Punisher Tones are CNC Milled from the very best quality timber then hand sanded and hand polished to give them their amazing shine and smoothness. They have a beautiful piece of shell inlaid on one side. Their unique shape is roughly based upon the classic 351 design, however they are 2.4mm thick where you hold them, chamfering down to 0.7mm at the playing tip.
