MATERIAL
Purple Heart, Cobra's Saffron, Rose Apple & African Ebony.
INSTRUMENT
We recommend these Flag Tones for Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar & Archtop Jazz Guitar.
TONE
African Ebony is a very close-grained timber that polishes to a smooth finish, this ensures that you get a clean crisp sound. The hardness ensures that it can withstand the rigors of electric guitar playing. If used on an acoustic guitar it will dramatically brighten the sound.
Rose Apple is a medium soft timber which will add a good level of warmth to the tone of most Acoustic Guitars.
Cobra's Saffron is a medium hardness timber, which is relatively frequency neutral. Although it will add some depth to the tone of most acoustic guitars, it will do so without dramatically altering the frequency of the tone.
Purple heart is on the cusp between an electric guitar and acoustic guitar use. Warm mellow tones can be achieved on an electric guitar however the relative hardness of Purple Heart is likely to slightly brighten the tones of most acoustic guitars.
DESIGN
Flag Tones are based upon the Classic 351 shape. They are typically 2.5mm thick chamfering down to a playing tip at 0.7mm thick. They then have a grip pattern etched with a laser on one side of the plectrum to give you an unbeaten grip.
CONTENTS
This tin contains 1 of each of the Flag Tones Guitar Picks.
NOTES
Although we have tried to ensure that our photos represent the Guitar Pick that you will receive, there is a high level of variety in our picks due to the nature of many of our natural materials.
